find the date of iphone release
So I just phoned up the Apple Store to order my MacBook 1 and towards the end of the conversation with Andy I asked about the iPhone, and he replied with a shipping date for it in the UK.
Andy: and would you like anything else?
Me: The iPhone is available to pre-order yet is it by any chance?
Andy: (laughs) no, unfortunately. We’ve had great interest in it, and it’ll be shipping in October in the UK according to the internal email this morning.
Me: Great! and yeah I figured you’ve had a lot of interest due to you adding an option to your phone store menu to enquire about ‘Exciting new things announced at MacWorld.’
His name changed & emphases added by me.
So there we have it, 9 months to iPhone release in the United Kingdom (and probably Europe as well.) I can’t wait!
